《古文明霸王傳》是宇峻科技在1998年製作的一款戰棋遊戲。遊戲沿用該公司之前《超時空英雄傳說2外傳 北方密使》的遊戲引擎，並採用正邪對立的雙主角雙主線模式。
在克拉罕大陸東方的宮國，武官「驃」不滿護國大將軍的軍事政策自願遠調邊疆，但是遭到追殺。同時，被封印多時的大魔王「布雷克」突然復活，去向不明。故事在這種背景下展開。玩家可以扮演難度較低的「驃」與大將軍廝殺，並揭發大將軍的真面目；也可以扮演難度較高的魔神「布雷克」征服大陸，並發現自己真正的身份。
除了採用同類遊戲中少有的正邪對立雙主角雙主線模式，製作公司還將轉職系統強化，將所有職業分類成東西方兩大系別，各自擁有不同的轉職方向，並增加了怪獸系獨有的轉職系統。
